Apartment Petra is located in a rural area in the town of Opuzen. Opuzen is a small historical town, located on two rivers, in the delta of the Neretva river, in the center of agricultural production, spared from mass tourism and crowds, yet in the immediate vicinity of many coastal towns, natural beaches, swimming areas and attractions. During the summer, various cultural, musical, sports, culinary and other entertainment events take place in Opuzen as part of the "Opuzensko lito" program.

In the very center of Opuzen, surrounded by stone houses, narrow streets and passages, with a spacious city square in the center, you will find restaurants, cafes, a pastry shop, a souvenir shop and other things you need for your daily stay.

Among the sea beaches, in Opuzen itself, on the banks of the Neretva River, there is a well-organized city swimming area with facilities as an ideal place to cool off from the summer heat.

Furthermore, on the Ušće beach there is a special ornithological-ichthyological reserve with a bird observatory, southeast of Opuzen is the special ornithological reserve Kuti, 8 km further in the town of Metković you will find a natural history museum with an ornithological collection and 13 km further in the village of Vid the archaeological museum of Narona with remains of the Roman Empire, and 30 km away in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina is the world-famous sanctuary of Medjugorje.
